- Encourage self-help and other support strategies
In addition, the course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and covers topics affecting youth such as anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD), and eating disorders.
This is a BLENDED course, which means you must complete 2 hours of pre-work before you can attend the in-person portion of the training. Instructions on how to complete the pre-work will be provided after registration is complete.
